Ese and Limoni Aumalesulu win the Creative NZ Pacific Toa Award 2025

The powerhouse duo behind Tejit Records, Ese and Limoni (Moni) Aumalesulu, have been honoured with the 2025 Pacific Toa Award at the Arts Pasifika Awards — a recognition of their outstanding contribution as Pacific artists living with disability.

Founded in Auckland, Tejit Records has become a vibrant hub for Pacific music, amplifying artists’ voices and making professional audio production accessible. Despite being blind, the brothers have turned their lived experience into a source of strength — building a studio grounded in faith, community, and perseverance.

The award is not just a celebration of their musical and entrepreneurial achievements, but also a tribute to their resilience — as they continue to inspire, uplift, and create opportunities within the Pasifika arts world.
